Coimbatore Wildlife Conservation Trust (CWCT) is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to the noble cause of wildlife conservation and environmental protection. Founded with the core mission "to protect wildlife and conserve nature", CWCT has been tirelessly working to safeguard biodiversity, mitigate threats to wildlife, and promote ecological balance across the region.
Established on 18th March 2018 (Registration No: 04/26/2018 CBE-TN), CWCT has steadily grown into a trusted and proactive force in the conservation landscape of Tamil Nadu. Our headquarters are based in Coimbatore, with an extended presence in Chennai as well. Since its inception, the trust has been self-funded and operated through the generous efforts of our team members and volunteers.
To create a harmonious coexistence between humans and wildlife by fostering awareness, protection, and the restoration of natural habitats.
To conserve native wildlife and their habitats through strategic partnerships, education, and fieldwork.
To engage with local communities and promote environmental stewardship.
To support government initiatives and collaborate with the Tamil Nadu State Forest Department in protecting the flora and fauna of the Coimbatore district and beyond.
